Virtual Leadership Training

Earn 10 CPD hours while you learn critical engineering management skills

The Engineer As Leader 2023

Engineering leaders are invaluable to their organizations.  As an engineering leader, you are challenged to step beyond your technical expertise and motivate the engineering team to meet the organization's goals.  Engineering organizations invest leadership training in upwardly-mobile engineers.  Tailored for engineers, this interactive leadership training program will teach you how to motivate others and develop your range of leadership strategies.  Earn 10 CPD hours virtually; attend from work or home.  Learn how you make decisions & what drives your personal leadership style; multiple ways to influence others at every level of your organization; skills for improving team performance & cohesion; reflection skills to link new leadership concepts to your own experiences; and the art of applying your skills to specific leadership situations (e.g., leading peers, handling difficult conversations, fuzzy ethical situations).  Register here by February 23.

Speaking Opportunities

Speaking Opportunities

Becoming a speaker for OSPE or EFO offers excellent exposure for you, your company and your work.  OSPE and EFO are always seeking new topics and speakers for the hundreds of PEs we host at conferences and seminars every year.  Our goal is to provide fresh, timely, interesting, and useful education that will help Ohio PEs meet the state's continuing education requirement and expand their prospects.  With attendances that swell annually, our conferences have earned a reputation for quality educational content, and they consistently receive high praise from Ohio PEs.  Proposals for technical topics, managerial topics and ethical topics are all welcome.  All proposals should be directly relevant to engineering practice.  Experts in their fields should email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  with their seminar topic and credentials.  Most seminars are 60-90 minutes.  Limited opportunities for longer sessions may be available.
