The Fall CPD Conference, presented by the Engineers Foundation of Ohio with major support from NSPE‑Ohio, is a fully virtual two‑day professional development event designed specifically for Ohio’s licensed engineers and design professionals. Participants can earn up to 15 CPD hours—including mandatory ethics content—through a series of focused, high‑quality seminars led by experienced practitioners and subject‑matter experts. Because the program is delivered online, attendees can join from home or work while still benefiting from a robust, carefully curated curriculum tailored to Ohio’s engineering community. The Fall CPD Conference reflects the shared mission of NSPE‑Ohio and EFO to provide accessible, relevant continuing education that strengthens professional practice across the state.

Membership & Tax Deduction
NSPE-Ohio Associate membership dues include membership in NSPE-Ohio and your local chapter, and the $25 annual subscription cost of OhioEngineer magazine. NSPE-Ohio dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. NSPE-Ohio estimates that 23 percent of your Ohio dues is not deductible because of NSPE-Ohio lobbying activities on behalf of its members. Pursuant to the Internal Revenue Code, this percentage of your dues is not deductible. Please consult your tax advisor for details.

Speaking Opportunities
Becoming a speaker for NSPE-Ohio or EFO offers excellent exposure for you, your company and your work. NSPE-Ohio and EFO are always seeking new topics and speakers for the hundreds of PEs we host at conferences and seminars every year. Our goal is to provide fresh, timely, interesting, and useful education that will help Ohio PEs meet the state's continuing education requirement and expand their prospects. With attendances that swell annually, our conferences have earned a reputation for quality educational content, and they consistently receive high praise from Ohio PEs. Proposals for technical topics, managerial topics and ethical topics are all welcome. All proposals should be directly relevant to engineering practice. Experts in their fields should email efo@ohioengineer.com with their seminar topic and credentials. Most seminars are 60-90 minutes. Limited opportunities for longer sessions may be available.
