Engineers Foundation of Ohio

The Engineers Foundation of Ohio (EFO) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit educational foundation that was established to raise funds for engineering educational programs.  EFO has implemented programs to increase the math, science and technological aptitudes of Ohio's youth.  Programs for engineering professionals include development of managerial skills.

MATHCOUNTS:  EFO's "flagship" program, has grown to include nearly 7,000 middle school children statewide in local chapter math competitions.

IMAGINE ENGINEERING:  Imagine Engineering introduces more than 7,500 children to the exciting field of engineering each year, many of whom enter their artwork into the Imagine Engineering Coloring Contest.

SCHOLARSHIPS:  Up to $33,000 is distributed each year to up to 24 of Ohio's brightest engineering students.  EFO and the NSPE Foundation have provided more than $1 million in scholarships to Ohio engineering students over the years.

ENGINEER AS LEADER SEMINAR:  Helps young engineering students and career-changing veterans learn the finer points of managing human relations and employment challenges.  Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours are offered to professional engineers.
