NSPE-Ohio Northeast Chapter's CPD Seminar Series *
Seminar 1 | January 23, 2026
Kick off the new year with the NSPE‑Ohio Northeast Chapter's Continuing Professional Development Seminar Series — three in‑person seminars designed to help you stay current, earn CPD hours, and reconnect with fellow engineers across Northeast Ohio. Each seminar offers 1 CPD hour. State Board-compliant CPD Certificates of Attendance will be distributed at the conclusion of each seminar. Registrations are limited.
The first CPD seminar, Local County Transportation Update, is free for all Northeast Ohio PEs — a public service provided by the NSPE‑Ohio Northeast Chapter.
Hear directly from county‑level engineering and transportation leaders — Geauga County Engineer Andrew W. Haupt, PE, PS, Lake County Engineer Alan L. Exley, PE, PS, and Lorain County Deputy Engineer Shaun J. Duffala, PE, PS — as they share what’s ahead for Northeast Ohio’s roads, bridges, and infrastructure. This panel will cover current project priorities, funding trends, upcoming construction seasons, and the engineering challenges shaping local mobility. It’s a practical session designed to give PEs a clear view of what’s happening across our counties — and what it means for your work and your community.
